| Abstract | 本发明公开了一种提高佛肚树园艺观赏性的栽培方法。该方法是在春、秋季的清晨或下午4:00以后，选带膨大球茎的佛肚树作为接穗，以成活的高大膏桐为砧木。根据希望嫁接的位置、茎粗大小来选择接穗，选好砧木和接穗后，在适当的位置截干，沿中线纵劈开至恰当的深度，把接穗球茎下的主根削成契形，长约10厘米，插入劈开的砧木，将形成层对齐，插紧；用宽1.5～3厘米的塑料绑扎带扎结实，接穗和砧木紧紧连成一体，并注意接口防水；待接口完全愈合自然增粗，约6个月后绑带影响到嫁接后的植株生长时再解出绑带，保证接口粘牢。并依上述步骤在膏桐的各枝上进行嫁接，这样膨大球茎就移到膏桐树上成为一棵新的植株共同生长。 |
