| Abstract | Based on both morphological and molecular evidence, it is confirmed that Alseodaphnopsis maguanensis is conspecific with A . hokouensis . Hence, Alseodaphnopsis maguanensis is treated as a synonym of A. hokouensis here. The conservation status of Alseodaphnopsis hokouensis is also re-evaluated according to the IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria in this study. |
